2022 Bamberg County Recreation Grant Application Deadline Extended To May 16

The South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism administers several grant programs ranging from the development of public recreational opportunities throughout the state to marketing support for qualified nonprofit organizations. Emphasis and priority will be placed on projects which serve a large portion of the youth (18 and under) of the county and those which have not received funding previously.

The 2022 Recreation Grant application is available online or in the Bamberg County Courthouse Annex, Isaiah Odom Building. The application deadline is 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 16, 2022, to the County Administrator’s office, 1234 North St, Bamberg, SC 29003. Completed applications may also be emailed to Mrs. Rose Shepherd at shepherdrr@bambergcounty.sc.gov.  

Electronic means of obtaining and submitting the application is preferred because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
