USC Salkehatchie will host Take Flight! Aviation Camp for rising  7th and 8th graders in Allendale and Colleton counties. There is NO COST to participate in this camp thanks to the generosity of our sponsor, Boeing South Carolina, and our partners, the Hiram E. Mann Chapter of the Tuskegee Airmen, Allendale County School District, Colleton County School District and Joint Base Charleston.

The 2-day STEM camp includes on-campus activities, as well as trips to the Lowcountry Regional Airport, the Tuskegee Airman Monument, Boeing South Carolina, and Joint Base Charleston. Students will see presentations from pilots, tour planes, and participate in hands-on STEM activities including light modules, rocket activities, simulations, coding, and other engaging projects.

To participated, please FULLY complete and return ALL forms. Space is limited to 30 students per camp.  You must be a student at Colleton County Middle School or Allendale-Fairfax Middle School to participate.   Please return the completed forms to USC Salkehatchie by Monday, June 6. If you prefer, you may email the completed forms to ja89@mailbox.sc.edu.
