Allendale County Schools: Rapid COVID Testing Consent Forms Released

Allendale County Schools: Rapid COVID Testing Consent Forms Released
0Comments

Allendale County Schools issued the following announcement on September 14.

Greetings Parents:
We would like to provide you with a few updates:
In an effort to slow the spread of COVID and keep all of us safe, Allendale County School District has partnered with a COVID-19 Testing Company (DocGo/Rapid Reliable Testing) to come in each week and test our students for COVID. We are hopeful that putting this plan in place will help us to readily identify anyone who may be carrying the virus – whether symptomatic or asymptomatic. All we need from you is to sign the consent form that your child will bring home today and return it to your child’s teacher on Wednesday Sept 15. Each student will receive a $5.00 bill when he/she returns the signed consent form.
Your child will be COVID tested in the auditorium at each school where they will be socially distanced and receive rapid results. If your child tests positive, the company will call you immediately.
Any student who is vaccinated does not have to be COVID tested each week.
School Districts across SC are putting these measures in place to mitigate the spread of the virus.
Parents, thank you so much for returning the consent form and helping us STOP the spread of COVID 19.
