LEGO MAY-NIA Begins January 2nd
Earn the chance to ATTACK THE LIBRARIANS! But how, you ask? Beat a Lego tower challenge just by reading!
Beginning January 2nd, interested participants will have the opportunity to set a New Year’s reading resolution for how many books they will read by May 1st. They’ll keep track of books read on a provided log through April 30th and turn them in to the library’s service desk on May 1st.
A library representative will then roll 2 dice to determine the Lego brick multiplier; this means that for every book collectively read, up to 12 bricks per book will be added to a tower to be constructed at Builders Club on May 5th.
If the Lego tower reaches the height of our circulation clerk, Brant (6’3”), all qualifying participants will have the opportunity to celebrate their success by attacking all 3 staff members with whipped cream pies, water balloons, or shaving cream-and-cheese puffs on Friday, May 12th @ 6pm, to be shared via Facebook for all to see!
