Tuition for South Carolina residents attending the University of South Carolina-Salkehatchie remained steady during the 2022-23 school year, as revealed by recent disclosures, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.

Residents of South Carolina paid $7,558 to enroll at the two-year public college in both the 2021-22 and 2022-23 academic years.

For the 2022-23 academic year, non-resident students were charged $18,238, which is 141.3% higher than the in-state tuition. This rate was unchanged from the previous year.

Approximately 77% of the undergraduate body at the institution are South Carolina residents, while about 19% come from other states and 4% are international students.

Data indicates that 96% of full-time undergraduates who began studies at the University of South Carolina-Salkehatchie in 2022-23 received some form of financial aid. Specifically, 122 students were awarded grants or scholarships totaling $867,831, and 65 students obtained student loans amounting to over $351,867.

Among all undergraduates, 425 students benefited from grants or scholarships amounting to $1.6 million. Additionally, 140 students borrowed $715,934 in federal student loans.
