Edisto Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Animal Lovers of Edisto Canine Rescue will hold its annual Freezin for a Reason Polar Puppy Plunge at 11 am on Saturday, February 26, at  McConkey’s Jungle Shack, gracious host, and sponsor. McConkey’s will provide hot chocolate and cider and will donate 10% of sales on the 26th to Animal Lovers. Masks required and social distancing where possible.  This event is free to the public! Great raffle items donated by local businesses again this year. Whether you plan to take the plunge or enjoy the festivities from dry land, we hope to see you there! Donations to Animal Lovers K9 Rescue can be made by check, cash, or at www.AnimalLoversOfEdisto.com.
 
Leashed dogs are welcome and may participate in the plunge at the owner’s discretion. Benefitting Animal Lovers of Edisto Canine Rescue
