The Lowcountry Area Agency on Aging would like to share valuable information for seniors who struggle to communicate, make sound decisions, or may be incapacitated. A Guardianship is a person, institution, or agency appointed by the Probate Court to manage the personal matters for an adult who lacks the capacity to care for himself or herself.
