Today, Senator Tim Scott (R-S.C.), Ranking Member of the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, issued the following statement following President Biden’s veto of bipartisan legislation which would have prioritized building Americans’ wealth over his administration’s progressive agenda:

“Biden cares more about his far-left agenda, than your retirement savings,” said Senator Scott. “Investments should build your wealth, not subsidize woke policies. I’ll continue to fight to protect your hard-earned savings and stop this administration’s effort to play politics with your pocketbook.”
