Guided public tours of Spanish Mount will take place at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 2 p.m. from Tuesday, December 6 – Friday, December 9, 2022, and Monday, December 12 – Thursday, December 15, 2022.
Each tour is limited to 20 participants, and pre-registration is encouraged (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/ 473032491917). Tours will be guided by an archaeologist, will last approximately one hour, and will include experimental archaeology demonstrations.

Join archaeologists from the South Carolina Parks, Recreation, and Tourism (SCPRT), the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR), and the South Carolina Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology (SCIAA) during the December 2022 field season at Spanish Mount located at Edisto Beach State Park.
