Allendale County Schools issued the following announcement on November 22.
We are so excited to announce our Male Mentors on the Move Program! Allendale County School District is seeking to partner with 70 males to serve as mentors to our middle and high school scholars. It is important that our males have positive role models to encourage them and help direct them down the right path while they are on campus each day.
Our Male Mentors on the Move Program caters to a diverse age group and to those with limited availability as well. If you are unavailable at certain times each day, that is no issue! Our program requires only 4 hours of commitment each week from participants. Participants may choose one of the two shifts available: 7:45 a.m.- 11:30a.m. or 11:30a.m.- 3:45a.m.
