The Turtle Tide Project, started in 2022, was developed as a way to showcase art throughout the community, while also promoting local businesses and supporting charitable originations in the area. The Project also serves as an educational tool to increase awareness around turtle conservation.
Ten turtle sponsorships were made available this year to local businesses and organizations.
Painted turtles will be on display throughout turtle season until October when the sculptures will be auctioned to benefit the selected non-profits.
