Town of Edisto Beach issued the following announcement on August 5.

The Town of Edisto Beach will be holding a Special Election on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 to fill the unexpired term for the seat of Mayor of the Town of Edisto Beach to serve the remaining unexpired term of two years.  Petition filing for the Town of Edisto Beach opens on August 11, 2021 and closes September 3, 2021. Petition forms may be acquired at Town Hall or found online at www.scvotes.gov. Each Candidate must complete the Statement of Economic Interest forms, which can be completed online at www.ethics.sc.gov
